Shropshire Council proposes to introduce a new 40mph speed limit on the B5069 St Martin's Road and also Moors Lane at St Martin's in order to restrict vehicle speeds to a level that is appropriate to the environment of the village in the interests of safety for all road users and improved quality of life for local residents. |

Shropshire Council proposes to place a 40mph speed limit on the following roads in St Martin's:

The introduction of a 20mph speed limit on the roads in the vicinity of Church Preen Primary School to improve the safety of schoolchildren.
School keep clear markings are proposed at the school entrance on the unclassified road to Church Preen.
Proposed new charges to take effect from 9 February 2026.
