Title of scheme |
A4117 Clee Hill to Doddington - 50mph Speed Limit |
|
Description |
Safety for road users and livestock between Clee Hill and Doddington village. The existing speed limit between Clee Hill and Doddington is currently national (60mph) and approx. 1.5 miles in length. The A4117 carriageway at this location cuts through common grassland where livestock roam freely and over the years there have been a number of collisions involving livestock being struck on the carriageway. Reducing the speed limit from national (60mph) to 50mph will provide road users with more time to react to livestock in the carriageway and reduce the number of collisions. |
