Due to an error that has been identified with the current speed limit order covering the A454 at Hilton it is necessary for Shropshire Council to make some minor administrative changes which will require the revocation of a section of 40mph speed limit which is currently referred to in Schedule 4 of the Order, and which should have previously been removed. This will not alter the lengths of the existing speed limits covering the A454 at Hilton or require any changes to the speed limit signage on the ground. |

Shropshire Council proposes to revoke the following length of 40 mph speed limit at Hilton:
That length of the A454 Wolverhampton to Bridgnorth Road between a point 540 metres east of this junction with Stratford Lane and a point 56 metres west of it's junction with Unclassified and Unnamed Road and 114 metres west of Sandpits Lane.
This change is for administrative purposes only. There will be no alternation to the speed limit on the ground.
