Bayston Hill Waiting Restrictions

Description

The change to waiting restrictions in the locations named within this Order will help avoid danger by providing safer parking and better visibility for pedestrians, cyclists and motorists wishing to use the roads, and/or improve the amenities of the area through which the roads run.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (VARIOUS ROADS, BAYSTON HILL)
(AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to make the following changes to parking restrictions in Bayston Hill:

a)    No Waiting At Any Time restrictions will be placed on:

Gorse Lane (both sides):
From its juction with Overdale Road and Pulley Lane in a northerly direction to the property boundary of No 73 Overdale Road and No 1 Gorse Lane. 
 

b)    No Waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-6pm restrictions will be placed on:

Beeches Road (East side):
From the boundary of properties No 1 and No 3 Beeches Road in a southerly direction to the junction with Christchurch Drive.
 

c)    Limited Waiting (2 hours No Return for 2 Hours Mon-Fri 10am-5pm and Sat 9.30am-1pm) restrictions will be placed on:

Glebe Road (West side): 
From a point opposite the northern property boundary of 24 Clarkefields (end of the existing no waiting at anytime restriction) to a point in line with the centre of Clarkefields.

d)    Limited Waiting (2 Hours No Return for 2 Hours Mon-Sat 8am-6pm) restrictions will be placed on:

Lansdowne Road:
Limited waiting bay outside the shops on Lansdowne Road

Any existing restrictions at the above locations will be revoked.
