Proposal
INSTALLATION OF ROAD HUMPS ON THE B4385 BRAMPTON ROAD (WEST), BISHOP’S CASTLE
Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, propose to establish traffic calming measures on the B4385 Brampton Road, Bishop’s Castle.
Road humps
Road humps are proposed at the following locations on the B4385 Brampton Road (west), Bishop’s Castle:
- 30 metres northwest of its junction with the A488
- 39 metres northwest of its junction with Bowling Green Close
The road humps will be the full width of the carriageway, have a 6m flat top and will be 100mm high with sinusoidal ramps.
