| Description | This proposal follows the completion and analysis of a questionnaire distributed to residents in May / June 2022 and a further public consultation workshop in December 2022. The proposal is intended to reduce vehicle congestion, facilitate the safe passage of traffic and access to property whilst giving residents equal opportunity to park near to their homes. The introduction of virtual permitting and visitor hours will give improved access and greater flexibility in service provision. It is proposed:

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (SEVERN STREET AND SEVERNSIDE SOUTH, BRIDGNORTH) (AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to make the following changes to the parking restrictions on Severn Street and Severnside South in Bridgnorth:
| Severnside South (east side) | For the entire length of the carriageway. | 
| Severnside South (west side) | From the northernmost point of the carriageway southwards to a point 22 metres south of the property access for Riverview Cottage. |

 | From the northernmost side of the property access to no. 2 Severnside South to the southernmost side of that access. | 
| 
 | From a point in line with the north side of Severn Street southerly to a point in line with the south side of Severn Street. | 
| 
 | From a point in line with the northernmost property boundary of no. 26 St Stephen's Place southwards for the extent of the carriageway. | 
| Severn Street (north side) | From its junction with Severn Side South eastwards to a point in line with the property boundary of no. 1 Severnside South and no. 21 Severn Street. |

 | From a point three metres west of the property boundary of no. 56 and no. 57 Severn Street eastwards to its junction with the A442 St John's Street. | 
| Severn Street (south side) | From its junction with Severnside South to its junction with the A442 Hospital Street. | 
| Severnside South (west side) | From a point 22 metres south of the property access for Riverview Cottage to a point in line with the northernmost side of the property access to no. 2 Severn Side South. |

Any existing restrictions at the above locations will be revoked.
Eligible residents of the Severn Street scheme will be able to
purchase one resident parking permit per premise, with one car registration allowed per permit, at a cost of £100.
Proprietors of holiday let properties located within the Severn Street scheme may purchase a parking permit for use by their customers during the rental of the holiday let property. Each establishment will be entitled to purchase one digital permit annually at a cost of £100.
