Title of Scheme |
Church Stretton - Sandford Avenue - Waiting Restrictions |
|
Description |
These changes are necessary as the loading bay is now redundant, and Shropshire Council, with the support of Church Stretton Town Council, believe that extending the nearby limited waiting bay represents a more efficient use of the available road space. |

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (SANDFORD AVENUE, CHURCH STRETTON) (AMENDMENT) ORDER
We propose to make the following changes to the parking restrictions on the southeast side of Sandford Avenue in Church Stretton:
Revoke the loading bay that extends between points 23.6 metres and 28.6 metres east of its junction with High Street.
Extend the existing limited waiting Mon-Sat 8am-6pm, 'Two hours, no return two hours' bay to include the length of the above revoked loading bay so that it starts at a point 23.6 metres east of its junction with High Street, and ends at a point 19.1 metres west of its junction with Easthope Road.
