Proposal

INSTALLATION OF SPEED CUSHIONS ON VARIOUS ROADS IN ELLESMERE

Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council, in exercise of their powers Under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, propose to establish traffic calming in Ellesmere as follows:

A pair of speed cushions is proposed at the following locations. The speed cushions will be 75mm high, 2m long and 1.65m wide.

  • B5068 Elson Road from a point 86 metres northwest of its junction with Cambria Avenue.
  • A495 Oswestry Road 187m northeast of its junction with McCreadie Drive.
  • A495 Oswestry Road 245m northeast of its junction with McCreadie Drive.(178m gap)
  • A495 Oswestry Road from a point 119m west of the A495 Scotland Street junction with Berwyn View.
  • A495 Oswestry Road from a point 72m west of the A495 Scotland Street junction with Berwyn View.
