Design of New Dwellings Supplementary Planning Document Consultation
Shropshire Council is proposing a new Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to provide design guidance for new dwellings.
Shropshire Council is proposing a revision to its Extremely Hazardous Routes Policy which is how unsafe walking routes are assessed in relation to home-to-school transport. This revision won't affect the number of pupils entitled to free home-to-school transport under this policy, nor does it have any financial impact for the council.
The consultation itself will seek feedback from members of the public and from all the relevant stakeholders and interested parties, including councillors, town and parish councils, schools and colleges, parents and students.
All responses to the consultation will be carefully considered before the consultation findings, and recommended next steps, are considered by Shropshire Council's cabinet on 8 March 2023.
