THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL
(BOROUGH OF SHREWSBURY & ATCHAM) (NO. 2)
(SPEED LIMITS) ORDER 2006 (AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the following speed limits into Montford Bridge:
That length of the road towards Forton Heath, titled “Forton junction to Little Ness Crossroads” from its junction with the B4380 Holyhead Road to a point 53m northeast of the junction with the road towards Adcote and Little Ness.
That length of the road towards Montford titled “Montford Bridge junction with Holyhead Road B4380 to School House junction east of Shrawardine” from its junction with B4830 Holyhead Road for a distance of 158 metres in a generally south-westerly direction.
That length of road towards Adcote and Little Ness, titled “Forton junction to Little Ness crossroads” from its junction with the road to Forton Heath, titled “Forton farm junction to B5067 junction Leaton” for a distance of 132 metres in a generally north-westerly direction.
That length of B4473 Preston Montford Lane from its junction with the B4380 Holyhead Road for a distance of 931 metres in a generally southerly direction.
That length of the B4380 Holyhead Road from a point 306 metres northwest of its junction with the road towards Forton Heath titled “Forton junction to Little Ness crossroads” for a distance of 319 metres in a generally north-westerly direction towards the A5 Trunk Road.
Any existing speed limits at the above locations will be revoked.
