Description

The introduction of a 30mph speed limit along the road from Bridges to Newton aims to improve the safety of school children, residents and other road users in the vicinity of Norbury Primary School. 

The proposals are being implemented along the road from Bridges to Newton in the vicinity of Norbury School following assessment of motor vehicle speed data and pedestrian movements around the school accesses on this road.

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL (DISTRICT OF SOUTH SHROPSHIRE) (SPEED LIMITS) (PART 2) ORDER 2007 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to introduce the following speed limit in Norbury:

30mph Speed Limit

The Bridges to Newton Road  

From a point 147 metres east of the centre of its junction with the easternmost arm of the Norbury Village Loop Road easterly to a point 25 metres west of the access to Shuttocks Wood.
