(PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING AND PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2009 (PARK STREET, SHIFNAL) (AMENDMENT) ORDER
Shropshire Council proposes to place No Waiting At Any Time restrictions on Park Street in Shifnal as follows:
NO WAITING AT ANY TIME
PARK STREET
East Side
West Side

After comments received during the consultation the scheme was implemented on 16 September 2016 with minor changes to the original proposals.
The introduction of the prohibition of stopping markings on Church Street, Ruyton XI Towns are to improve pedestrian visibility and safety outside of St John the Baptist C Of E Primary School & Nursery, Ruyton XI Towns. The restrictions are proposed to replace the existing school keep clear markings that are not enforceable and will be located in the same place as the existing markings.
The introduction of waiting restrictions along Curriers Lane and its junctions with Barn Road and Greenfield Crescent will provide unrestricted access along the road increasing visibility for all road users including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, reduce congestion and improve air quality.
Proposal to establish a pedestrian crossing on Oteley Road, Shrewsbury.
