Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council, in exercise of their powers Under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, propose to establish traffic calming measures on Curriers Lane, Shifnal.
Pairs of speed cushions are proposed at the following locations on Curriers Lane, Shifnal (typically, the height of the speed cushions will be between 65 - 75mm high, be 2 – 3m in length, and 1.6 – 2m in width):

The introduction of waiting restrictions along Curriers Lane and its junctions with Barn Road and Greenfield Crescent will provide unrestricted access along the road increasing visibility for all road users including pedestrians, cyclists and motorists, reduce congestion and improve air quality.
