Installation of speed cushions and raised tables along Coppice Green Lane, Shifnal

Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council, in exercise of their powers Under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police, propose to establish traffic calming along Coppice Green Lane, Shifnal, as follows:

A pair of speed cushions is proposed at the following locations along Coppice Green Lane, Shifnal: 

  1. 94 metres north-east of the junction with Curriers Lane. 
  2. 175 metres north-east of the junction with Curriers Lane.
  3. 260 metres north-east of the junction with Curriers Lane. 

The speed cushions will be red in colour, 65mm high, 3000mm long and 1750mm wide.


A single raised table is proposed at the following locations along Coppice Green Lane, Shifnal:

  1. 350 metres north-east of the junction with Curriers Lane. 
  2. 454 metres north-east of the junction with Curriers Lane.
  3. 525 metres north-east of the junction with Curriers Lane.

The raised tables will be red in colour, 75mm high, 7500mm long and 4900mm wide.
