Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 - Schedule 13A small waste incineration plant (SWIP).

Application for Environmental Permit to operate a Small waste incineration plant (SWIP) at Coder Road, Ludlow, Shropshire, SY8 1XE.

Overview of the proposal:

The company known as Biodynamic Carbon Ltd, has applied to Shropshire Council for an environmental permit to operate an installation for a Schedule 13,1(a) small waste incineration plant (SWIP) for the incineration of non-hazardous material at a rate of no more than 3 tonnes/hour. The proposed plant will process waste virgin wood, green waste arising from arboriculture and compost oversize by a process of pyrolysis. 

The application and supporting documents have been placed on the public register held by Shropshire Council and can be inspected in the documents attached to this consultation. Alternatively, the application can be viewed by appointment, free of charge, during normal office hours at Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, SY2 6ND.

Any written comments will be placed on the public register unless they include a statement requesting that this is not done. If there is such a request the register itself will just include a note that representations have been made which are not on the register because of such a request.
