ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 23 

ALTERATION OF PEDESTRIAN CROSSING

OVERTON ROAD, ST MARTINS

Notice is hereby given that Shropshire Council, in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, and after consultation with the chief officer of police, proposes to alter a pedestrian crossing as follows:

Zebra to puffin crossing on Overton Rd, St Martins at a point approximately 25 metres southwest of its roundabout with Ellesmere Rd and Greene Lane.

A plan illustrating these proposals may be inspected, free of charge, at Oswestry Library, Arthur Street, Oswestry, Shropshire SY11 1JN, and is attached to this page.

Any person wishing to make representations in relation to this proposal should do so in writing to the Traffic Engineering Team, The Guildhall, Frankwell, Shrewsbury, or by email to traffic.engineering@shropshire.gov.uk by 18 February 2026.
