Stoke-on-Tern School: parking restrictions

Description

It's proposed to formalise the existing school keep clear road marking outside the school entrance on Rose Hill Road by implementing a ‘no stopping on entrance markings’ restriction which will be in operation Monday to Friday 7:15-9:15am and 2:30-3:30pm. This is proposed to facilitate safe pedestrian movements around the school access during school peak periods.

It's proposed that the existing school keep clear markings around the junction of Rose Hill Road, Wistanswick Road and Ollerton Lane are replaced with no waiting at any time and no loading at any time restrictions. This is proposed to ensure visibility is maintained around the junction itself for all road users.

A short section of no waiting at any time and no loading Monday to Friday 7:15-9:15am and 2:30-3:30pm is proposed on the east side of Rose Hill Road. This is proposed to prevent inconsiderate parking blocking property accesses opposite the school, but also maintain loading provisions for these properties when required.
