Shrewsbury – Oteley Road – toucan crossing
Proposal to establish a pedestrian crossing on Oteley Road, Shrewsbury.
Tenbury Town and Burford Parish Councils have jointly applied to have the parishes designated as a single Neighbourhood Area for the purposes of neighbourhood planning.
In accordance with the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations, Malvern Hills District Council and Shropshire Council are publicising the application for six weeks and invite representations on the appropriateness of the proposed Tenbury and Burford neighbourhood area boundary, to consider whether there are any reasons why the Councils should not make the area designation
Representations on the designation of the proposed Neighbourhood Area can be submitted by email to developmentplans@malvernhills.gov.uk or by post to Development Plans and Conservation, Malvern Hills District Council, Council House, Avenue Road, Malvern, Worcestershire, WR14 3AF.
The period for submitting representations relating to the Tenbury and Burford Neighbourhood Area designation begins on Friday 4th December 2015 and closes at 5pm on Friday 15th January 2016. Representations received beyond this date may not be considered.
A copy of the application and a map of the area can be viewed below, or at Customer Contact Centres in Malvern, Tenbury Wells and Upton, Burford Village Hall and the Shirehall Shrewsbury.
Note -
Following the Introduction of the Localism Act 2011, the purpose of designating a neighbourhood area is for a neighbourhood plan to then be prepared for that area. Tenbury Town and Burford Parish Councils are in the earliest stages of considering a neighbourhood plan and this application seeks now to formalise the process.

We're inviting people who use day centres in Shropshire, their family members, carers, members of the public, professionals and our stakeholders to have their say on proposed changes to Shropshire Council’s in-house day services. These are services Shropshire Council runs and delivers.
