Worthen - Long Mountain School – parking restrictions

Title of Scheme |
Wall-Under-Heywood - speed limit changes |
|
Description |
The reasons for proposing these revisions are two-fold: 1. The 40mph speed limit proposed at Wall Bank is in response to residents' concerns over traffic passing speeds and the resultant difficulties arising when exiting properties onto the B4371. This historically is a collision site. 2. The shortening of the 30mph speed limit will, it is hoped, give this more emphasis as it will now be concentrated on the main built-up area on the B4371. The overall restricted length to the east remains, but the new limit here will be 50mph as it is felt that this is more in keeping with the driving environment on this section. |
