For approval of a room(s) within those premises known as

for the solemnisation of marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 and the registration of civil partnerships in pursuance of Section 6(3A)(a) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.

The applications, together with plans of the premises that accompanied it, may be inspected at the offices of the Registration Service, Shropshire Council, The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 6ND between the hours of 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. Please telephone 0345 678 9016 to make an appointment before attending.

How to get involved

Any person may give notice in writing to me at the above address or email registrars@shropshire.gov.uk of an objection to the grant of approval of such applications, with reasons for such objection, within 21 days from the date of publication of this notice (by midnight 2 June 2021)
