Welshampton to The Balmer - changes to the speed limit

Proposal

Title of Scheme

Welshampton to The Balmer - changes to the speed limit

Description

The extension of the existing 30mph speed limit together with a new 40mph “buffer” speed limit, will reduce traffic speeds through the village. This will improve safety for local residents and, in particular, for pedestrians who occasionally have to walk within the carriageway due to the sporadic footway provision.

Locations

B5063 Welshampton to Wem road and Rowe Lane
