Westgate Car Park, Bridgnorth - Removal from Car Parks Order

Locations

Westgate Car Park, Bridgnorth

THE SHROPSHIRE COUNCIL

(OFF-STREET PARKING PLACES) ORDER 2011 (AMENDMENT) ORDER

Shropshire Council proposes to remove all references to Westgate car park (Bridgnorth) from its off-street car parks traffic regulation order.  For operational reasons, the Council building is now surplus to requirements. A review of accommodation requirements to support the Council's Business Planning Programme and Consolidation of services and assets last year identified the premises as significantly underused and unsuitable for delivery of future services, and it was resolved to dispose of the site at Full Council on 27 February 2014.

Full details of these proposals are in the deposited documents which may be examined during usual office opening hours at The Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury, or at Bridgnorth Library, Listley Street, Bridgnorth.
