Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Plan Consultation (2023)

Proposal

Notice is given that Shropshire Council has received submission of the Draft Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Development Plan from Cleobury Mortimer Town Council, under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. This submission includes:

• The Draft of the Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Development Plan - which also explains the extent of the area covered by the Neighbourhood Plan. Specifically, it aligns with the administrative area of Cleobury Mortimer Town Council a map (page 6 of the draft document) of the Cleobury Mortimer Town Council Boundary;
• The Basic Conditions Statement;
• The Consultation Statement;
• The Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Assessment;

As such, Shropshire Council will now consult on the Draft Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Development Plan and its supporting documents in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.

This consultation will run from 16 January to 10 March 2023. Representations must be received by Shropshire Council no later than 5pm on Friday 10 March 2023

Any representations may include a request to be notified of Shropshire Council's eventual decision under Regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the Draft Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Development Plan.

The Draft of the Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Development Plan; Basic Conditions Statement; Consultation Statement and Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Assessment are available to view on this webpage. A copy has also been made available at Cleobury Mortimer Library and Shirehall, Abbey Foregate, Shrewsbury.

Elements of the evidence base prepared to inform the draft Shropshire Local Plan are also relevant to the draft Cleobury Mortimer Neighbourhood Development Plan.
