Design of New Dwellings Supplementary Planning Document Consultation
Shropshire Council is proposing a new Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) to provide design guidance for new dwellings.
Notice is given that Shropshire Council has received submission of the Draft Much Wenlock Neighbourhood Plan Review from Much Wenlock Town Council, under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. This submission includes:
As such, Shropshire Council will now consult on the Much Wenlock Neighbourhood Plan Review and its supporting documents in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012.
This consultation will run from Friday 13 June to Friday 25 July 2025. Representations must be received by Shropshire Council no later than 5pm on Friday 25th July 2025.
Any representations may include a request to be notified of Shropshire Council's eventual decision under Regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the Draft Much Wenlock Neighbourhood Plan Review.
The consultation documents are available to view on this webpage. Copies have also been made available at Much Wenlock Library and The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury.
Elements of the evidence base prepared to inform the draft Shropshire Local Plan are also relevant to the draft Much Wenlock Neighbourhood Plan Review. This evidence base can be viewed on our website.
