A planning public inquiry appeal is taking place from 15 September at 10am, to be held in the Council Chamber at the Shropshire Council, Guildhall, Shrewsbury, SY3 8HQ. This is currently scheduled for twelve days.

The inquiry will open at 10am on 15 September 2026, and 9:30am on subsequent days.

Reason for inquiry

Appeal by Boningale Developments Ltd against the decision by Shropshire Council Southern Planning Committee to refuse planning permission ‘for a mixed-use development comprising up to 800 dwellings, a care home of up to 80 units, a secondary school and local centre with associated access, infrastructure, landscaping and drainage on land at Patshull Road, Albrighton, Shropshire.
