The Big Listen – Growing Up in Shropshire

Introduction

We want to hear what it’s really like to be a young person living in Shropshire.

What’s good about where you live? What makes you feel happy, safe and included? Are there enough places to go, things to do and opportunities for young people? And what could be better?

We’re asking young people aged 11–25, including young people with disabilities and additional needs, to tell us about their experiences.

Your views will help us understand what’s working well, what’s missing and what needs to change. We’ll use what you tell us to help shape future opportunities, activities and support for young people across Shropshire.

There are no right or wrong answers. We want to hear about your experiences, and you can skip any questions you don’t feel comfortable answering.

We’ll share what we’ve learned and explain how young people’s views are helping to shape what happens next.

This survey will run from 3 November to 31 December 2026.
