Tasley Neighbourhood Plan 2026

Proposal

Notice is given that Shropshire Council has received submission of the Draft Tasley Neighbourhood Plan from Tasley Parish Council, under Regulation 15 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. This submission includes:

  1. The Draft Tasley Neighbourhood Plan and appendices; 
  2. Tasley Design Guide and Codes;
  3. The Consultation Statement;
  4. The Consultation Statement appendices;
  5. The Basic Conditions Statement;
  6. A map which shows the extent of the area covered by the Neighbourhood Plan - specifically, this aligns with the administrative area of Tasley Parish Council;
  7. The Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) Screening Statement; and
  8. The Habitats Regulations Assessment (HRA) Screening Statement.

As such, Shropshire Council will now consult on the draft Tasley Neighbourhood Plan and its supporting documents in accordance with Regulation 16 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012. 

This consultation will run from Friday 17 April to Wednesday 3 June 2026. Representations must be received by Shropshire Council no later than 5pm on Wednesday 3 June 2026. 

Any representations may include a request to be notified of Shropshire Council’s eventual decision under Regulation 19 of the Neighbourhood Planning (General) Regulations 2012 in relation to the Draft Much Wenlock Neighbourhood Plan Review.

The consultation documents are available to view below. A copy has also been made available at Tasley Village Hall and The Guildhall, Frankwell Quay, Shrewsbury.

Elements of the evidence base prepared to inform the draft Shropshire Local Plan are also relevant to the Draft Tasley Neighbourhood Plan. The evidence base documents can be viewed on the Shropshire Council website. 

How to get involved

We are seeking the views of all parties. Representations on the Draft Tasley Neighbourhood Plan may be submitted to Shropshire Council by emailing: planningpolicy@shropshire.gov.uk
